People who are residing in Hyderabad, Telangana and having atleast one year of experience in software industry are eligible to apply for PGSSP
PGSSP is not a regular programme or a course. It is a status. One can keep registering for courses as long as one wishes under PGSSP mode
You should have a Bachelor's degree (not necessary from CS). You should have atleast one year of software industry experience and should be residing in Hyderabad. Additionally your organisation should be willing to let you attend classes in the college during the college timings for the subjects you enrolled in
As this is not a regular course, there is no duration or a fixed syllabus. People enrolled in PGSSP usually choose one or two subjects offered in that semester as per their interests.
First benefit is the knowledge. You will definitely learn from highly knowledgeable professors. If you are keen to convert into a regular course resulting in a degree, you can convert to MS by research or PhD or M.Tech programme

If you are sufficiently motivated and if you put 4-5 hours of effort every week, you should be able to handle the courses. However, it depends on the exact subjects/courses you register for
If you lose interest during your PGSSP period, you can discontinue the course. You will not get any refund of the fee you paid for the semester.

The college advertises the list of subjects offered in the semester. For the first time enrollment, choosing the subjects requires physical registration at the college. Subsequent semesters, you can choose online
Currently, the cost for each subject is INR 28000 per semester. In addition, you have to pay the Student Status fee which is INR 28000 per semester. First time joinees have to pay INR 10000 refundable deposit, which will be refunded when leaving from the college
PGSSP is a part time programme. You don't have to stay in the hostel
In PGSSP mode, one can take minimum 1 and maximum 2 subjects per semester.

The monsoon semester starts in the first week of August and continues till the last week of November. The spring semester starts from Jan(or sometimes the last week of December) and will continue till the last week of April May to July are summer vacations. December is the month for winter vacation
It depends on the course. For part time M.Tech, you just file some paper work in the admissions office and if you are eligible. For MS and PhD which are research based programes, you need to have an advisor who can recommend admission into the part time programme in their lab

For parttime programmes including PGSSP, there is no scholarship available from the college. Please check if your company is interested to sponsor you for the course. However, full time research programmes like MS by Research and PhD are fully funded by your labs. In addition, you can also earn money by doing TA/RAship
